10/30/19-Please join us for the opening reception of "Medieval Marvels" featuring the artwork of Nicholas David, Mikel Peña, and Elisabeth Morales on November 1st at the Coral Gables Museum from 6-8 pm.  10/21/19- Congratulations to Marcos Suarez in 6th grade and Angelo DiPietro in 7th grade on having their artwork accepted to the 34th Annual Impressions in Watercolor Exhibit. Marcos had two entries accepted and also won an Honorable Mention Prize! 10/14/19- Congratulation to Benjamin David in 2nd grade. His art entry won the Florida Hispanic Heritage Contest and was invited to attend the Governor's Hispanic Heritage Celebration at the Governor's Mansion in Tallahassee. This years theme was "Hispanics in Public Service" and Benjamin's drawing depicted a MDPD officer delivering water to the community after a hurricane. Benjamin received many prizes and got to meet many important people at the ceremony. He had a great time!  10/7/19-Congratulations to 4th graders Ashlynn Fee, Angelina Lopez, Savannah Serpa and Danette Vega-Mendez. Their artwork was selected for the Visual Metaphors Exhibit and will be on display at the MIA Gallery. 10/4/19- Congratulations to Elisabeth Morales and Mikel Peña in fourth grade, as well as Nicholas David in sixth grade. Their artwork has been selected to be shown at the Small Works Exhibition at the Miami International University of Art and Design. This years theme was "Medieval Marvels".
