November Artists

Ariel Whelan, 2nd grade-My name is Ariel and I love to read.  I also draw and do art. I like art because I like to make pretty pictures. I like to draw characters from movies and owls. I am 7 years old. 

​Lisandra Perez, 3rd grade-What I like about art is that sometimes I get to express myself with drawings.  It also calms me.  Also, my favorite subjects is art.  I like to do art because my whole family loves art and I love it too.  I have always wanted to be in Art Club or an artist, those are the reasons I love art. 

​Elisabeth Morales, 4th Grade-My name is Elisabeth Morales.  I love art because I get to express myself by drawing art.  It is really fun to express my feelings through art.  I think I will be an artist when I grow up.  I love being in Art Club.

​Sebastian Montoya, 5th Grade-I like art because I can express myself in different ways and in the colors and with art you can tell a story with different things that represent other objectives. one main reason art is very important to me is because when I am stressed or do not feel good I pick up a pencil and paper or what I can draw with and I use my imagination and every time Im stressed, every time I use my creativity a piece of my stress is gone.   Sometimes for me colors can mean different things

​Flavio Carrillo, 6th Grade- Art is a great subject because it allows you to relax, create, and let your imagination run wild.  You can express yourself and your ideas to the world with just a simple sketch.  Art is also relaxing and stress relieving, due to the fact of how simple, yet satisfying and impressive it could  be. As a young artist I look forward to expanding my skills and creating more. Art is an activity that can be done anywhere and it is very enjoyable to look at your lovely, yet simple creation on a plain sheet of paper. The point of art is to relax, create, and do something you enjoy.
