Evelyn Margesson, 7th Grade, is having a great year. She has had her artwork accepted to the Black History Month Exhibit and won 2nd place in the Baynanza Poster Contest. Evelyn is hard working and very imaginative and creative. She has been around for a long time so she is a seasoned pro by now. and it is showing this year. Keep up the great work!

Angie Abreu, 4th Grade- Angie is a hardworking and very talented artist who displays a great attitude and friendly manners. She always comes through with the completion of her projects and is very reliable and responsible!  For these reasons, she is December's Artist of the Month!

Ariana Pupo-Rodriguez, 5th Grade- Ariana has been one of the greatest achievers in the history of Everglades K-8 Center, winning many contests and prizes in just a few years. What makes Ariana special is not just her talent but her incredible effort at completing her work. There are other students just as talented but never has there been anyone to outwork her! 

Amelie Ferrer, 2nd Grade-Amelie is a new superstar in the making! She is only in 2nd grade but has already impressed her art teacher. She came to 2nd grade with an excellent recommendation from her 1st grade teacher and was invited to attend Art Club. She has already produced some very good pieces of work as you can see below! Keep and eye out for her!

Zander Gonzalez, 3rd Grade- Zander is a very promising young artist who produced some very good pieces of art last year. His coloring is excellent! 

Xadier Sutil, 4th grade- Throughout his 2nd and 3rd grade years, Xadier has pushed himself and produced very cool and awesome pictures. He has worked his way to become one of the best 4th grade artists at Everglades K-8 Center.  We hope to see him become and even greater artist this year. 

Veronica Moriyon, 5th Grade-I like art because it helps me express myself and access my creativity. I like to draw because it entertains me when I'm bored. I like to draw office buildings and shops. 

Alanna Hernandez, 6th Grade-I like art because I can express myself on the paper. Ever since I was little, I've liked to draw and color. Art is just something I am passionate about and I enjoy doing it very much.

Nathalie Vargas, 3rd Grade- "I enjoy Art because it inspires me to paint and draw my ideas. I practice a lot so i could be a better artist everyday."

Emily Rivero, 3rd Grade- I love to draw and color. I like to draw people or pictures of myself. I also love to draw animals.
